My travels took me south of Fowlerville and that gave me an excuse to head off the beaten path. At least for me. This time I found myself on Sargent Road, between Fowlerville and Nicholson Roads. I came upon a small bridge over one of the Handy Township drains. Looking north from the bridge, I snapped this picture of a crane resting on a patch of grass. If I had been quicker with my camera moments earlier, I would have caught the crane in flight, low over the water.
