My brother, Mike, is an artist and a framer (as a matter of fact he framed my Fowlerville pictures below). Feel free to check out his site and wander around.
Recently, while at the Ann Arbor Art Fair, I happened upon a photographic artist that would find letters in architecture, and I fell in love with her artwork. She created words like "love," "dream," "home" . . .
To that end, and if you are at all familiar with this website, you know I love taking pictures, and I realized I could create my own photographic artwork using Fowlerville's architecture. If you look closely at the picture above, bricks, windows, street lamps, pipes and railings spell out our village's name.
At this point, I have framed two sizes of this artwork. The one shown is about 30" wide. I have another one -- quite a bit larger -- in a black frame. The one shown is $75 and the larger one is $90 if anyone is interested in purchasing this artwork.
If so, please feel free to contact me through e-mail or by phone and we will work out the details.
