Squint Shot 120510
As I travel around town, taking care of errands and deliveries for my embroidery company, sometimes something as simple as some porch trim catches my eye. This cut-out pattern has a fleur-de-lis quality to it; a design that is quite prevalent in the village. A few of the storefronts have the fleur-de-lis (reflecting the continuing presence of heraldry in everyday life) etched into stone or brick. So now I wonder -- as I travel through the village, where else might I find this emblem?
