The temporary museum, located in the old hotel across from Curtis Grocery in The Treasure Chest store, is starting to shape up beautifully. On loan, from Wayne Copeland, is this wonderful set of cowbells. The Copeland farm was established in 1853, according to the etching inside the strap.
I'll be posting other items provided by our village president so be sure to check back -- or come visit the museum. Hours are whenever The Treasure Chest is open. There will, at some point, be volunteers available to answer questions Monday through Friday from 11 am to 1 pm, but you are more than welcome to browse the items the rest of the time.
If you do visit the museum, be sure to come back here and let us know what you liked seeing.
