1956 Frank's Grocery Expansion

As the days were closing in on when I wanted to get my manuscript, The Fowlerville Chronicles, to the publisher, I was given the opportunity to go through a box of pictures from the 1950s, belonging to Ann Utter. The following two pictures are of the east side of North Grand Avenue, as construction was being done on doubling the size of Frank's Grocery: I was able to include both of these pictures in the book. Lately, as I've been going through pictures of microfilm from all of my research, I came across the following "Grand Opening" advertisement for Frank's. Check out the prices!
