Squint Shot 041011
St. John's Lutheran church located on Benjamin street was photographed in the mid-1930s. It stood nearly by itself, with the photographer of this early picture able to stand about half a block away from the front of the building. When I took today's "now" shot, I got as far across the street as possible and took the picture. Changes from then to now are additions to the northside and a large addition on the west side, where it appears to be the main entrance to the church now. Another change -- houses all around.
