Squint Shot 010511
To start out the new year, we've been looking at the "Fowler House, 1845" located on South Ann Street. As history has shown, Ralph Fowler's home was located in the northwest quadrant, just west of the dentist's office, where there is hope for an ice skating rink if the winter weather holds true. Although this house has been labeled as the "Fowler House," could it have belonged to another Fowler? There were so many Fowlers in the early years -- from Rufus to Roscoe to Ora to Charley. These pictures were taken toward the end of last summer, as you can see by the green leaves on the trees. This particular shot shows some of the detail trim on the front porch.
