Squint Shot 011011
Today you get to check out four squint shots. All of these shots were taken of the inside of the old fur trading post before anything was removed. Most of the siding had been removed from the outside, therefore the sun was shining in brightly. This first shot is of the southeast corner of the building: The next one is looking to the northeast: Then, the north window is shown: And, lastly, the rafters are shown: I asked the village dpw workers if they would try to reuse any of the old wood, but they had decided it was not worth saving. The wood was so dried out, in many instances, it would splinter as they would pry it away from the structure. As you will see later in the month, some things were saved from the building -- interesting, to say the least.
