As in other old houses, I've taken pictures of the wood trim around and above doorways and windows. This beautiful trim above one of the doors in the old house, at the northeast corner of North Second Street and East Grand River, no longer stands as the building was removed in late December. There was talk of retrieving as much as possible before the demolition took place -- but I have not heard if any of this wood was saved.
