Snack-urday 133

Lemony Garlic Salad Dressing
-
1/4 cup squeezed fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
3 cloves of garlic, squished in a garlic press
Dash of sea salt
Dash of fresh pepper
1 head Romaine lettuce, washed, torn, and dried
1/2 head iceberg
1 yummy baguette of French bread
-
Use an old pasta sauce jar for your salad dressing container - you are recycling after all, because it is the right thing to do, and think of the money you are saving. Pour the lemon juice and the olive oil into the jar. Add the lemon zest, squeeze the garlic, add the salt and pepper. Put the lid back on and shake the mixture. Add to your carefully torn lettuce, enjoy a piece of bread, pour some wine and watch the sunset.
