Squint Shot 040210
At the back of the second floor staircase of the storefront just east of the first built at the southeast corner of South Grand and East Grand River, glass blocks allow a bit of daylight into the area. The blocks may well be a bit newer but the window frame is old. The woodwork has been scraped, treated, and repainted, but the mechanisms are evidences of a day gone by. There will be more pictures of this storefront and the old Ruth's Resale (before that C.D. Hamilton) and even some pictures when the refurbishing was taking place, so be sure to check back.
