A quick few steps to the front of the building from the back staircase and one is at the front door. The original door has been cleaned up and restored, with the mechanics of the handle and lock in place. To touch the wood is to feel years of hands smoothing the texture. During the last Christmas season, this building was used as a reception hall for the grand marshalls of the parade.
