Mr. Edwin Metcalf wishes us to give the parties who have been stealing his cabbage warning that in order to kill the worms, he will give the remaining cabbage a dose of Paris green and, for a few days at least, it may be rather unhealthy to eat them.
My guess is this would be a strong reason not to raid his cabbage patch -- as long as they read this blurb published in The Fowlerville Review. It is almost too bad further reporting did not inform us of anyone affected!
