Ethel wrote:  "Dear Cousin, I am writing you a card.  Why don't you all come fair time.  I have two days out.  From Ethel" to Sila Medder of Williamston.  This beautiful flowered-card with poetry was sent for 1-cent in 1909.  By this time, the Fowlerville Fair was celebrating 23 years, having been organized in 1886, with the first event the following year in 1887.
