Snack-urday 123

There are so many wonderful websites for recipes, it is almost beyond me to pull out my old Betty Crocker cookbook. At Easy Recipes, I came across this super-simple recipe that even kids can help with.

Haley's Sausage Squares
(created by 12-year old Haley from Texas)

2 cans of crescent rolls
1 package of breakfast sausage
1 8 oz package of cream cheese

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Open one can of crescent rolls and spread out on a greased baking pan. Then spread out the whole package of cream cheese on top of the rolls. Next crumble all of the breakfast sausage on top of the rolls. Finally, open the second can of crescent rolls and place on top.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

I would say, serve scrambled eggs and some fresh fruit with these sausage squares and you've got a meal that will stick to your ribs.
