There used to be a spinner located in Fowlerville and evidence of her existence is still on the awning. She was an interesting person -- her hair looked like spun yarn and she walked with a bit of a stoop as if she had spent one too many hours spinning away at the huge wooden wheels. Now, our local Fowlerville News and Views occupies that spot and spins out their paper week after week.
