A short announcement was published in The Fowlerville Review on September 19, 1951, as follows:
School Purchases New Bleacher Seats ~~ New bleacher seats have been purchased by the school board, and will be used for the first time Friday, September 21, when Stockbridge will come here for a football game.
The new seats are of excellent construction, and there will be more seating space than in the old ones.
The game will be played at the Centennial field starting at 8 o'clock.
So -- does anyone out there remember these new seats?
