2010 Rotary Club

In 1947, the Fowlerville Rotary Club was chartered, making it now 63 years old. One charter member still makes it to a meeting or two every now again -- Ken Tannar -- and the club averages about 30 members.

Although the following hardly seems like history yet, it just seemed notable to me. This full-page thank you was published in The Fowlerville News and Views just before Christmas, 2010. If you didn't happen to see it, I hope this gives you an idea of how involved the club is in every event in the village throughout the year.
And, now a new year begins. Two thousand eleven will see the village celebrate its 175th anniversary of the arrival of Ralph Fowler to this area. Plans are already in the works to make this an awesome celebration. The Fowlerville Rotary Club, the Fowlerville Business Association, and the 4th of July Fireworks Committee are working in tandem with the Centennial Committee. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for all the events soon to start happening.
