1906 Curtis Cornet Band

The Curtis band will give a lawn social at the home of Oral Miner in this village Thursday evening, July 12, proceeds to go to the band.  Band concert commences at 8:00 o'clock and continues until all are served.  Come and enjoy an evening of music, ice cream, and cake.

The above article was found in a 1906 issue of the local newspaper.  It is just one of many references made of the band.

While doing research for my book, The Fowlerville Chronicles, I came across the following picture of the Curtis Cornet Band.  I have wished many times there were names associated with the picture, but no luck.
