Sometime in the 1930s, the following picture was taken -- when Will Sidell had the hardware business located in what now houses Harmon Real Estate. When matching up the 'then' with the 'now' shots, a few changes are instantly noticeable. The peak at the rooftop no longer exists, there was only one traffic light, and a facade and canopy now cover the ground floor of the building.
At the time the older photograph would have been taken, the third and fourth floors were in use and accessible from the North Grand Avenue side of the building.
