The following two pictures are not the same building. But . . .
From all indication, where there is now an alley next to Aleta's Flower Shoppe, a mirror-image of that building used to stand, and in 1912, it was L.F. Herning Meat Market.
As I keep doing research, I may find something to confirm my suspicions but for now, enjoy a 1912 'then' picture and a current day 'now picture of two very similar one-story buildings.
