As many still call it -- the old hotel -- still stands but it is not used as a hotel any longer. Currently, there are apartments on the second floor, and on the ground floor, a photographer, beauty salon, a closed-up coffee shop, and an antique store.
The 'then' shot was found in an issue of the Fowlerville News and Views, labeled in the early 1920s. At that time, it was Hotel Sumner and inside was a lunchroom.
